Leer esta sección nos hace reflexionar sobre nuestra responsabilidad como parte de la especie humana. La carencia de ética, que llevó a repetir una mentira que se convirtió en verdad. Este caso es como la frase “ Entre los individuos, como entre las naciones, el respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz” que se le adjudica al Lic. Benito Juárez García y que aparentemente no fue acuñada por él, según algunos por Immanuel Kant y según otros por, Benjamín Constant de Rebecque, duda que no ha tenido mayor repercusión en la población, pero que podríamos corregir. Pero el caso del engaño de Andrew Wakefield sigue afectando a nuestra especie y sus resultados no son del todo corregibles. Los brotes de sarampión y tos ferina en Estados Unidos y en la Unión Europea son un ejemplo de lo que puede ocurrir cuando se liberan los demonios que ya habían sido controlados. Pareciera que una decisión individual no tiene gran repercusión, pero en el caso de las vacunas puede ser la diferencia entre la vida y la muerte, y por que no – como menciona el autor de esta reflexión - hasta la desaparición de la especie humana

This section invites us to reflect upon our responsibility as part of the human species. The lack of ethics, thatethics that led to the repetition of a lie that became true. This case is like the phrase "Among individuals, as among nations, respect for the rights of others is peace" that is awarded to Lic. Benito Juarez Garcia and apparently was not coined by him, some give the credit to Immanuel Kant and others to Benjamin Constant de Rebecque, certainly it has not had a major impact on the population, but we could correct. But the case of deception by Andrew Wakefield continues to affect our species and the results are not entirely correctable. Outbreaks of measles and whooping cough in the United States and the European Union are an example of what can happen when the demons that had been controlled are released. Sometimes it seems that an individual decision has no great impact, but in the case of vaccines, it can be the difference between life and death, and why not - as the author mentions in this reflection - until the disappearance of the human species.
